Mr Quay Chin Huat is a barrister-at-law.  He graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1989.

He went on to read law at the Middle Temple, London and was admitted to the English Bar in 1990 He further obtained a post-graduate degree in Master of Law in 1994.

Upon returning home, Mr Quay read in the chambers of Shearn Delamore & Co, and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1995.

He then practised as a litigation lawyer in Zaid Ibrahim & Co, and then as a conveyancing and banking lawyer in Khaw & Hussein (now Khaw & Partners).

Thereafter, he practised as a corporate lawyer in Rashid & Lee, before starting his own practice as a sole proprietor under the name and style of MESSRS C. H. QUAY & CO in Seri Kembangan, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

Before entering the legal profession, Mr Quay served 6 years as Audit Assistant and Accounts Supervisor in Genting Berhad (now Resorts World Berhad)

Mr Quay is married to Ginny Tan Beng Gaik, and they have 3 jovial children, Alicia, Janice and Aaron.
